Meet Megan
Hey there! I’m Megan, the Founder & Designer of MPowHer Apparel.
I'm a proud daughter of Christ, a wife, and a mom to two beautiful daughters.
My journey to starting MPowHer Apparel has been shaped by adversity, resilience, and faith. From being abandoned by my biological parents as a teenager to surviving cancer at 19, I’ve had to learn how to navigate life with nothing but determination. Through it all, I've battled depression and anxiety, but these challenges have only strengthened my resolve. Every trauma and trial has fueled my mission for MPowHer and given me the grit to ride the waves of entrepreneurship.
The idea for MPowHer Apparel came from a very personal place. Just three days after filing my LLC for a coaching business, I found out I was pregnant with our first baby! As I watched my clients struggle with their activewear through every phase of life—and faced my own body changes through pregnancy and postpartum—I realized the options out there just didn’t cut it. I needed something that was functional, comfortable, and empowering.
That’s when MPowHer was born: activewear designed for women who’ve been through it all and can do it all. Whether you're running errands, chasing kids, or crushing a workout, our pieces are built to move with you—because we believe every woman deserves to feel powerful in what she wears.
A Letter from Our Founder
What started as a dream has blossomed into something far beyond what I ever imagined. MPowHer is more than just activewear—it’s a movement, a testament to what can happen when you follow your heart, take risks, and stay rooted in faith. Two and a half years ago, I had no idea where this journey would lead, but here we are, breaking barriers, one seam at a time.
I spent over a year working tirelessly to find the right manufacturers who could help bring my vision to life. Since our official launch in February 2022, MPowHer has been dedicated to solving the frustrations women face in activewear. Every detail, every seam, and every fabric choice has been carefully designed to give you the comfort, functionality, and confidence you deserve. When you wear MPowHer, you aren’t just wearing clothes; you're putting on something that was created with YOU in mind.
But let me be real with you—it hasn’t always been easy. There have been moments of doubt, setbacks that made me question if I could really make this work. Yet, through the ups and downs, one thing has remained constant: my faith. It’s the same faith that pushed me to take this leap in the first place when I could have easily let fear of launching an apparel brand, with zero design experience, win. Instead, I chose to believe in this dream.
Today, MPowHer is worn across the United States and has found its way into over 20 locations nationwide, including The Bar Method studios in the U.S. and Canada. And none of this would have been possible without you. Every purchase, every like, every piece of feedback fuels this dream, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
